Thanksgiving · Thursday, November 26
This Thanksgiving,
pass the thanks around.
It's the one holiday named for saying thank you, and almost nobody mails a card. Pick a photo, write a few lines, and we print and mail a real postcard to everyone you're grateful for. $5 each, stamp included.
Order by Friday, November 13 to arrive before Thanksgiving
Why a card
The group text can wait
Thanksgiving morning brings a hundred “happy turkey day” messages. A card with your photo and a few honest lines is the one they keep.
An empty mailbox
A Thanksgiving card lands weeks before the holiday-card flood. Nothing else in the box competes with it.
Thanks in writing sticks
A text gets read once. A card with your photo on it goes on the fridge and stays there.
$5, stamp included
Printed on thick cardstock with a glossy UV-coated front and mailed by USPS First-Class Mail. Nothing to buy, nowhere to drive.
Help with the words
Stuck after “Happy Thanksgiving”? The writing assistant turns a few words into a note that sounds like you.
Who's on your list?
Make a thanks list
Add everyone you'd like to thank, then work through it. Each name opens the card maker with a head start on the note, and you tick them off as they go in the mail.

Whoever's hosting
The one who cleans before and after.
“Thank you for opening your home and your kitchen to all of us, again. The table only works because you set it. Happy Thanksgiving.”

The one who can't make it
Too far, or working the holiday.
“It isn't the same table without you. We'll raise a glass in your direction. Happy Thanksgiving from all of us, and save room for pie when we see you.”

Grandma & Grandpa
They keep every card. Every one.
“Happy Thanksgiving, Grandma. Every recipe I'm proud of started in your kitchen. Thank you for teaching me that food is how we say love.”

The friend who got you through
The 11pm phone call kind of friend.
“Of everything I'm grateful for this year, you're near the top. Thanks for the late calls, the honest advice, and always picking up. Happy Thanksgiving.”

The neighbor
Watched the packages. Lent the ladder.
“Happy Thanksgiving from next door. Thank you for the borrowed ladder, the rescued packages, and the waves from the porch. We're lucky to live by you.”

Your kid's teacher
Mail it to the school. It lands in their box.
“Happy Thanksgiving, Ms. Rivera. Ava reads at the dinner table now, whether we like it or not. We're grateful for the patience it took to get her there.”

A nurse or caregiver
Someone working while you eat.
“You were there on the hardest days, and you made them easier. Our family is around the table this Thanksgiving because of care like yours. Thank you.”

The coach
Early practices, cold bleachers, endless patience.
“Coach, thank you for every early practice and every pep talk. The kids play hard because you believe in them. Happy Thanksgiving from the whole family.”
Spread it
Thanks travels
One card has a way of turning into three. Every card we mail carries the means to send the next one.
Step 1: You send one
A photo, a few lines, $5. It lands in their mailbox in 3–8 business days.
Step 2: They find the code
The back of every card has a small QR code beside “ithank.us”. Scanning it lets them send a card of their own for $4.
Step 3: Someone else gets thanked
Their neighbor, their sister, their old teacher. Gratitude is contagious; this just gives it a stamp.
Want to hear back?
Add a prepaid reply card at checkout for $4. Its QR code lets them mail a card back to you, free, with nothing for them to address or pay. Perfect for grandparents.

Three Thanksgiving traditions worth stealing
The gratitude round
Over dinner, everyone names one person who isn't at the table and should know they're thought of. Pass a phone around and send those cards before the pie comes out.
A card a day until the 26th
One person a day, a few minutes each. By Thanksgiving you've thanked more people than most of us manage in a year.
Thank the unthanked
The mail carrier, the school custodian, the night-shift nurse, the barista who knows your order. Address one to your own house, “To our mail carrier,” and they'll deliver their own thank-you.

Getting it there on time
Order by
Friday, November 13
to arrive before Thanksgiving
After that
Send it anyway
it lands just after the holiday
When should I order for Thanksgiving?
By Friday, November 13. Cards arrive in 3–8 business days by USPS First-Class Mail, and that date leaves room for the slow end of it, so the card lands before Thanksgiving on Thursday, November 26. Earlier is better: a card that arrives the week before gets read before the house fills up.
What if I'm too late?
Send it anyway. A card that arrives the week after Thanksgiving, when the leftovers are gone and the house is quiet again, gets read twice. Thank-yous don't have a deadline.
Can I send cards to several people?
Yes. Each card is its own order at $5, so every one can have its own photo and its own note. The thanks list on this page keeps track of who you've done; saved addresses make the second and third card fast.
I don't know what to write.
Tap someone on the thanks list and the writing assistant starts from who they are to you. Or write a few rough words and let it tidy them up. The best Thanksgiving notes name one specific thing you're grateful for.
Can I use a family photo?
Yes, any photo on your phone. No photo? Describe the picture you want, or let AI make Thanksgiving artwork: a harvest table, autumn leaves, a still life. Give it your own photos and the faces stay theirs.
Can they write back?
Every card has a QR code on the back that lets the person who gets it send a card of their own for $4. Want to hear back from them? Add a prepaid reply card at checkout for $4: they scan it and mail you a card, free.
What does it cost, and what's included?
$5 per card. That's the 4x6 postcard on thick cardstock with a glossy UV-coated front, full-color printing and the postage. No subscription, no app.
