The best ways to mail a real postcard from your phone (2026 prices compared)
Most roundups of postcard apps are five years old and the prices in them are wrong. This is the current list, with what each service really costs once you count postage, credits, and subscriptions, and who each one is best for. We make one of these, and we've tried to be fair about the others.
The short version
- Cheapest photo postcard: Postagram, $2, but photo-only, app-only, no help writing the note.
- Most designs: MyPostcard, from $3.49, with a subscription upsell.
- Pay-as-you-go without an app: ithank.us, $5 all-in with AI writing help and AI artwork. No account needed.
- Folded greeting cards with your handwriting: Felt ($4 to $6) or Hallmark Sign & Send (card price plus postage).
- Birthday reminders and an address book: Postable, around $4.50 plus postage per card.

Postagram and Ink Cards
Both come from the same company. Postagram is the cheapest real photo postcard you can send, at $2 with postage included, and the quality is fine. The limits: it's an iOS app, it's photo-only (no AI, no artwork), and there's no help with the note. If you have the photo and the words and you're on an iPhone, it's hard to beat on price.
MyPostcard
The biggest design library and the broadest product line (postcards, folded cards, photo prints). Postcards start at $3.49 with shipping included. The app pushes a PLUS subscription, which is where the real price lives if you send often. Good if you want a designed card rather than your own photo.
Touchnote
Credit-based: you buy packs, and the per-card price drops with bigger packs and memberships. The math works out to roughly $1.67 to $3.19 per postcard depending on how you buy. The credit model is the thing to watch; reviewers have called out the 'best value' labeling, and unused credits are the cost nobody counts.
Postable
The best address book and reminder system of the group. Cards are $3.99 to $4.50 plus postage, which puts a single card near $5. Worth it if you want birthday reminders and want to send a lot of cards to a saved list. Among the more expensive options per card.
Felt and Hallmark Sign & Send
Both mail a folded card with your actual handwriting on it. Felt uses a stylus in the app ($4 to $6 with postage). Hallmark lets you photograph your handwriting and prints it inside a real Hallmark card, at the card's retail price plus postage. These are the pick when the handwriting itself is the point.
ithank.us
Ours. One product, one price: a 4x6 UV-coated photo postcard, your note on the back, First-Class postage included, $5. It runs in the browser, so there's no app to install and no account to create. If you're stuck on the words, the writing assistant drafts a note from a sentence about who it's for. If you don't have a photo, the AI paints one. We're more expensive than Postagram and cheaper than every folded-card option once postage is counted.
What we don't do: folded cards, your own handwriting, international delivery, or bulk mailings.
How to choose

- You want your handwriting: Felt or Hallmark Sign & Send.
