What We Collect

Card Content

When you create a card, we collect the message text, generated images, occasion type, and recipient details you provide. This information is necessary to generate, preview, and print your card.

Delivery Addresses

We collect sender and recipient mailing addresses to fulfill your card orders. If you create an account, you can save addresses for future use.

Payment Information

Payment processing is handled entirely by Stripe. We never see or store your full credit card details. We only receive confirmation of successful payments.

Account Information

If you create an account, we store your authentication details through Clerk. This includes your email address and profile information, which allows you to view your order history and manage saved addresses.

How We Use Your Data

Card fulfillment: Your card content and addresses are used to print and mail your cards.
Order tracking: We retain order information so you can check the status of your cards.
AI generation: Occasion and relationship context you provide is sent to OpenAI to generate personalized messages and images.
No advertising: We do not sell your data or use it for advertising purposes.

Third-Party Services

Lob (Printing & Mailing)

Your card content and delivery addresses are sent to Lob for printing and mailing. Lob retains a copy of the printed card for order fulfillment and support purposes. They are bound by their own privacy policy and data protection standards.

Stripe (Payments)

Payment processing is handled by Stripe. We never see or store your full credit card details. Stripe is PCI-DSS compliant and uses industry-standard security practices.

OpenAI (Card Generation)

We use OpenAI to generate personalized card messages and images. The prompts sent to OpenAI include the occasion and relationship context you provide, but not your delivery addresses.

Clerk (Authentication)

User authentication is managed by Clerk. Your login credentials and profile information are stored and secured by Clerk in accordance with their privacy and security policies.
