What to write

Each of these fits on the back of the card. Borrow one, or paste it into the writing assistant and make it yours.

  • Thank you for not giving up on Ava's reading this year. She picked up a chapter book on her own last week. That's you. We're grateful.
  • Mr. Patel, Jonah talks about your class at dinner. That has never happened before. Thank you for making science something he wants to do.

  • You handled a hard year with more patience than we could have asked for. Thank you for every email, every extra minute, every time you noticed. The Garcias.
  • From one of your students, ten years later: I still think about what you told me about writing. Thank you. It stuck.

Why a real card

  • Teachers get gift cards and mugs. A note that names one specific thing they did for your child is the thing they keep in the desk drawer.
  • The front of the card can be a photo of the project, the science fair board, or the artwork. Or let the AI turn your kid's drawing into a watercolor.
  • It can go to the school address. You don't need their home address, and it arrives in the staff mailbox, which is a nicer surprise than an email.

Takes about two minutes

Pick a photo, write the note, add the address. We print it and mail it for $5.

Questions

Can I mail it to the school?

Yes. Use the school's address with the teacher's name on the first line. Most schools put mail in staff mailboxes the day it arrives.

When is Teacher Appreciation Week?

Teacher Appreciation Week 2027 is May 3 to 7. The end of the semester in December and the last week of school in June are the other two times teachers get the most cards. Any week works.

Can my child write the note?

Yes. Type what they say, word for word, and it prints on the back in a clean serif. Kids' notes in their own words are usually the ones teachers love most.
